What is AQUAGOLD?
AQUAGOLD® is a microinjection device. AQUAGOLD® fine touch delivers low doses of injectable drugs like Botox, fillers and vitamins at a consistent depth and is almost pain-free. This is a major advantage over the conventional syringe manual injection approach for certain sensitive areas, preventing overdosing or getting the needles too deep into the skin.

WHAT AREAS CAN BE TREATED?
Aquagold is used to treat the face. It is a microchanneling facial which allows infusion of products like Botoxs, filler, vitamins, or glutathione directly into the skin for a beautiful luminous glow. It also a great way to minimize pores and reduce sebum production.

HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?
Aquagold works best in a series of three treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart. Depending on your desired outcome or concern Aquagold facial can demonstrate results within weeks. Most patients see results from just 1 treatment, that will last up to 6 months, but typically after three treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart depending on the cocktail used for the facial treatment. Maintenance treatments are recommended every 3-4 months.
HOW LONG SHOULD I WAIT IN BETWEEN TREATMENTS?

CAN ANYONE USE AQUAGOLD?
Aquagold should be avoided in pregnant and lactating women. A consultation will help to determine if Auagold is right for you.

WHEN CAN I PUT MAKE-UP ON AFTER TREATMENT?
Since patient downtime is minimal, it is recommended that makeup not be applied for at least 6 hours post procedure.

WHAT KIND OF PRE PROCEDURE CARE IS REQUIRED?
Sun exposure and/or usage of a tanning bed, including self-tanning products, must be avoided for 1 week before and after treatment. Avoid chemical peels or waxing 2 weeks before and after treatment. Avoid Retin-A, Renova, and Tazorac must not be used for 1 week before or after treatment.
Shaving is allowed immediately before treatment and 48-72 hours after treatment, as long as there is no skin irritation.

WHAT KIND OF POST PROCEDURE CARE IS REQUIRED?
A sunburn-like effect immediately post-treatment is normal. The treated area may appear pink in color, but will resolve in 1-2 hours. The skin may feel tight, dry, swollen and sensitive to the touch.
Do not wash your face for the first 6 hours. After 6 hours, you may wash the treated area gently with a gentle cleanser and apply moisturizer.

Sun exposure should be avoided for at least 24 hours after your treatment – preferably 1-2 weeks. Apply full-spectrum sun block of SPF 30 or higher.
Do not use exfoliating medications, chemicals, or products on the treated areas for at least 2 weeks.
No exercise that causes sweating, Jacuzzi, sauna, or steam baths if any skin irritation exists for 24-48 hours.

Patients should moisturize the treatment area and avoid direct sun exposure. It is also recommended that patients use a good, broad spectrum sunscreen every day. In addition to reducing their future risk of skin cancer, sunscreens also reduce wrinkles and slow the aging process.
